Opechee Park is Laconia's largest and most dynamic park. Opechee Park is home to Laconia Little League, Laconia Middle School athletics, some Laconia High School athletics, Opechee Day Camp, two beaches, the city's track and skatepark.
The Opechee Cove Beach is a beautiful picturesque beach alongside North Main St. The water in the Cove does not move as often as other beaches and can often test high in E.Coli Bacteria - please use discretion when swimming at Opechee Cove.
Bathhouses Beginning June 21st, bathhouses on Opechee Cove open daily from 8:00am to 7:00pm - weather permitting.
No Lifeguards - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK Opechee Cove will not have Lifeguards this summer. PATRONS MUST SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK.
Boating is a GO at Opechee Cove! Opechee Cove is the one beach in Laconia that provides access for car-top boats (canoes, kayaks, etc) to launch!
Opechee Point The Opechee Point Beach is another beautiful beach, but it is tucked away behind the Opechee peninsula. The water in the Swim Area at the Point does tend to test cleaner than that at the Cove, but please continue to look for and respect signs that post otherwise.
Bathhouses Beginning June 21st, bathhouses on Opechee Point open daily from 8:00am to 7:00pm - weather permitting.
No Lifeguards - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK Opechee Point will not have Lifeguards this summer. PATRONS MUST SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK.
No Boating Please do not launch/land your boats (canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, rafts, anything motorized, etc.) from the Opechee Point beach. Anyone who launches/lands their boats from the beach will be asked to leave.
